Reminder that Malcolm Line is still closed between Fordwich Line and Howick-Turnberry due to road construction. Signs are posted. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Gough Road will be CLOSED between McDonald Line and Church Street starting Tuesday August 6, 2024 due to road construction for approx. one (1) month. It will be open to local traffic ONLY-signage will be posted. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Be sure to watch for notifications once open again.

Notice of Public Meeting - Property Standards Appeal Committee - December 19, 2023 at 6:00p.m.
The Property Standards Appeal Committee will meet on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Township of Howick Municipal Office. The Property Standards Appeals Committee hears appeals by property owners or their agents who have received an Order of the Property Standards from the Township. The Committee may confirm the Property Standards Order, modify or quash the Order, or extend the time for complying with the Order provided that in the opinion of the Committee, the general intent and purpose of the Property Standards By-Law are maintained. Meetings are held on an as-required basis and are scheduled once an appeal is received. The Committee must hold a hearing if an owner or occupant upon whom an Order has been served is not satisfied with the terms and conditions of the Order.
