Update: Maitland Valley Conservation Authority - The Flood Watch has been rescinded a Watershed Conditions Statement - Water Safety remains in place

The Flood Watch has been rescinded but a Watershed Conditions Statement - Water Safety remains in place for the Maitland and Nine Mile River watersheds. 
Rising river levels have either peaked or are rising more slowly and are expected to remain below major flood stage. Overnight temperatures are forecasted to drop below freezing, which will further reduce flows.

We keep saying it, but please stay away from streams and rivers. Flooding may occur in low lying areas - never drive through floodwaters!
