❗️Garbage, Recycling and Landfill Day of Operation Change 

❗️Effective July 7, 2025 

Township staff have been working towards a permanent solution for consistent curbside collection with Waste Management. We apologize for the inconvenience, missed pick-ups and we share in your frustration. 

Effective July 7, 2025 Curbside Collection will take place on Mondays following the same rotation. 

❗️Including Statutory Holiday Mondays 

The Howick Landfill will no longer be open on Wednesdays, as of July 7, 2025

♻️New hours are as follows.  
Open Mondays Year Round : 9am-4pm
EXCLUDING Statutory Holidays
Saturday Winter Hours: Nov 1 - May 1: 9am-1pm
Saturday Summer Hours: May 2 - Oct 31: 9am-4pm 

♻️ As a reminder, waste and recycling must be tagged and at the curb by 7:00 a.m. to guarantee collection.
