Remembrance Day Banners

The Township of Howick is proud to carry forward the legacy of remembrance by taking over the Remembrance Day banner program from the former Howick Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
You can honour a loved one or family member who served our country by purchasing a personalized banner to be displayed in their memory every year. Each banner costs $200.00 plus tax, payable to the Township of Howick.
If you would like to sponsor a banner but do not have a specific veteran in mind, a list of Howick’s fallen soldiers currently without banners is available below for your consideration.
The deadline to order for the 2025 season is September 12th, 2025. Banners ordered after this date will not be displayed until 2026.
The banner application form is available below, or at the Howick Municipal Office - 44816 Harriston Rd, Gorrie.
