2026 Howick Municipal Election: List of Certified Candidates

The nomination period for the 2026 Municipal Election has now closed. The Township of Howick has certified the following candidates in accordance with Section 35 of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996:

Voting Information

The 2026 Municipal Election will use internet and telephone voting, providing electors with a convenient and accessible way to cast their ballot from wherever they are during the voting period.

Voting will open on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. and close on Monday, October 26, 2026 at 8:00 p.m.

Electors will be able to vote online or by telephone at any time during the voting period. Information about voter eligibility, how to confirm or update voter information, and other voting details are available at: https://www.howick.ca/township-services/2026-municipal-election.

Additional information about voting assistance options for electors who do not have access to a telephone, computer or tablet will be shared closer to the start of the voting period.
