Join Maitland Valley Conservation on Saturday September 27, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. - Noon

They are looking for help to plant trees and shrubs on the north side of the river at Gorrie Conservation Area (Victoria St., Gorrie). This naturalization will:

help protect water quality
increase biodiversity at the site. This makes the area more resilient to invasive species and climate fluctuations.
improve habitat for wildlife including pollinators, birds and turtles
reduce the costs and fuel use of extensive grass cutting
