The Howick Township Fire Department has provided full fire protection services to the residents of Howick since 2010. Howick Fire operates from its station located at 2005 Nelson Street in Gorrie. The Department is comprised of a Fire Chief, a Deputy Chief, three Fire Captains, two Training Officers, and eighteen volunteer firefighters.

Successful Candidates will demonstrate an ability to perform a number of tasks including: fire protection and rescue services, fire inspection and public education within established policies and guidelines.
